PEACE DAY

Hope you can make it to PEACE DAY at KMPAC, KM High
School, Kent, WA, USA, on July 10, 2010, 7:00 PM. Live Music and speakers.

Tupelo, an eight member bluesy country band will perform (www.tupelomusicband.com).

Speakers include a returning Peace Day volunteer recruiting for the Peace Corps. Two young people from the Institute for Community Leadership of Kent will present their original poetry and interpret Alice Walker’s poem, Why War is Never a Good Idea. A Conscientious Objector who
served two years of alternative service with the Quakers in Seattle during the Vietnam War will also speak.

If you cannot attend, you can support PEACE DAY with your Sponsorships and Donations.
PEACE DAY is accepting Sponsorships. Gold Medal Sponsorships are $500, Silver Medal Sponsorships are $300, Bronze Medal Sponsorships are $150, and Blue Ribbon Donations are $75.

Individual donations of $5, $10, $15, $20, $30, $40, $50, will pay for PAC Rental and live band.

Be generous. PEACE DAY is a worthy cause.
